Did you know that we earned the title of Marijuana Dispensary of the Year?
Los Angeles International Airport is just around the corner from us, south of the Westchester district of the city of Los Angeles. It’s the sixth largest airport in the world, and the third busiest. With an average of 1,659 flights per day, it goes without saying that traveling through this airport can be overwhelming. The airport averages around 64 million passengers per year, and during peak vacation times, checkin-in and security lines wrap around for what seems like miles. Traveling is stressful; we get it. Come and see us to start your vacation.View Deals

Despite the traffic and the stress that comes with flying, we love LAX. It’s not only an airport, but also an art gallery that features temporary installations. It has some great restaurants and luxury shops as well. It was built in 1928 on fields of barley, wheat, and lima beans. It opened up as the Los Angeles Airport in 1941, then Los Angeles International Airport in 1949. Ever wonder how it ended up with the “X”? Prior to the 1930’s, airports used a two letter abbreviation, but the abbreviation expanded to three letters once aviation started to grow. The “X” has no real meaning attached to it.
Finding the Best Food
Go to the LA Gourmet Street Truck in American’s Terminal 4. In Terminals 5 and 7, you can get tacos, enchiladas, and burritos at the Loteria Grill, and Terminal 5 has the gastro pub Ford’s Filling Station.
Getting There and Getting Out
The traffic sucks, and there’s no doubt about it. If you’re using a ride sharing service, make sure you meet your driver by following the signs for “Ride Service Pickup”, as there are several stations for each terminal. Don’t forget to indicate on the app which one you’re at.
Visit the Flying Saucer
Even though LAX’s famous flying saucer-shaped tower closed as a restaurant back in 2013, visitors can still take the elevator up to the observation level on the weekend to see its amazing panoramic views.
Curious about buying marijuana on your next visit to California?
We’ve got you. You have to be 21 or older to purchase recreational cannabis products, and will need a valid ID when you come into the dispensary. Those with an issued medical marijuana card will need to be at least 18 years old. Make sure you bring cash, as most dispensaries (including us!) are cash only. Also keep your phone in your pocket - no selfies or photos allowed in the dispensary. Talk to a budtender to get recommendations on what you’re looking for, whether you want to feel relaxed, focused, and everything in between.
Once you have your products, you’ll have to resist the urge to start consuming them the second you leave. While it is legal to have recreational marijuana, just like alcohol, it’s not legal to consume it in public places. It’s worth mentioning that even though most states (currently California, Oregon, Colorado, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Michigan, Missouri, Utah, Washington, Massachusetts, Alaska, Vermont, Maine, and Nevada) have legalized some form of marijuana, it is still illegal to the feds. That means no shipping or mailing the goodies you bought on your trip. And definitely don’t fly with it. Enjoy it while you’re here, and then come back for more.
